WHAT DOES THE SERVICE ENTAIL

During a blood pressure check, our trained pharmacists or pharmacy technicians will measure your blood pressure in our private consultation room.

The reading will then be explained to you, and you will be offered advice and support in line with your results. In some cases, this may be as little as making small modifications to your diet, in other cases we may recommend you wear an ambulatory blood pressure monitoring device (ABPM) which measures your blood pressure over 24 hours, or you may be referred to your GP if necessary.

The ABPM is fitted by our trained professionals and is a painless process. Following the 24-hour monitoring, the results will be analyzed and discussed with you and if necessary, your GP.

This is a walk-in service and no appointment is necessary but if you prefer to book a time you are very welcome to get in touch.
